Beginning my professional career in 1992, I have been dedicated to protecting the secrets of our nation for over three decades. I am proud to say that the basic principles I learned in the military have served me well throughout my career, and I continue to rely on them to this day. My expertise in securing Microsoft cloud resources and data is unparalleled, and I have extensive experience in Defender, Exchange, Intune, and Azure Security. I am confident that my knowledge and experience in this field will be of great benefit to my clients.

As a consultant and lead for a Mergers and Acquisitions team, I have extensive experience with migrations. The most common is usually a company's entry into the cloud and moving their mailboxes, which can be accomplished with either a native tool or a third-party tool depending on their goals. I have also had success in migrating on-premises data centers to the cloud using Azure Migrate or Native VM tools. Lastly, tenant-to-tenant migrations are the most complex and time-consuming process, yet I have had great success in this area as well. I am proud of the expertise I have gained in this field and look forward to continuing to help companies with their migrations.

In my youth, I was always fascinated with computers and technology, so it was no surprise that I took to hacking into my Father’s work computers. No matter what he did, he could not keep me out of his system. While I didn’t want to be destructive, I wanted to say hello to my Dad, who worked many late nights. This experience led me to pursue a career in technology, and I found myself working odd jobs for a silk flower manufacturing company, building databases for the Sales team. However, I considered this a career until I joined the military to do encryption and decryption of data and voice. I was proud to have been part of the team that helped build the Department of Defense’s first Metropolitan Area Network when the Internet began taking shape. After I was Honorably Discharged from the United States Air Force, I went to work for a consulting company, where I was assigned to work on the world’s second-largest MS-Mail environment. I was thrown into the deep end, but I quickly adapted and learned MS Mail, and the Enterprise model was so much more than “Bigger IT.” I am genuinely grateful for my experiences and knowledge, which have allowed me to pursue a successful career in technology.
Over the years, I have been entrusted with increasingly important projects due to my extensive experience within the enterprise. This has been the cornerstone of my career and allowed me to understand IT comprehensively. Furthermore, I was fortunate enough to learn the joy of teaching from my father, who was an online college professor. He was the one who gave me the invaluable gift of mentoring. As the most senior IT professional, I was tasked with training the junior personnel, so I established a daily goal: learn something new each day and teach someone new each day. After three decades of experience, I am now in a position to give back. I am delighted to have had this opportunity and am proud of my progress.
